As part of a tv commercial for Planet Fitness I was asked to illustrate visuals of the prizes that new members could win. The brief was to create this in the style of 80s horror novels. A really fun job to work on as I use to enjoy a lot of 80s and early 90s horror movies and books.

Grapedistrict focuses on supporting small wine farmers bringing original and authentic wines to their customers. The illustration contains some of the actual wine farmers they’re working with.

San Francisco-based Cutwater asked me to participate in an advertising campaign for Ray Ban's new rare prints collection. I was asked to create an illustration inspired by the colourful patterns on these new sunglasses. This campaign was launched world wide. Warsteiner asked me to create an illustration for one of their limited artist edition glasses. The theme was 'One of the biggest small family breweries in the world'. It was a fun challenge to create something around the fixed position of the logo. Therefore I used it as a central point in the illustration as sort of a sun shining on the elements hops, barley and water, emphasising the idea of growth, bloom, life and development.
Poster illustrations for Creams to be used in store. Creams is an American style diner serving ice creams, waffles, sundaes, milkshakes across the UK.

The most magical gathering on earth… Amicorum Spectaculum. I was commissioned to create a victorian style key visual for Tomorrowland 2017. Tomorrowland is an electronic music festival held in, Belgium. It was first held in 2005, and has since become one of the world's largest and most notable music festivals.

Vlisco honours His Majesty King Willem-Alexander of the Netherlands with commemorative fabric. His Majesty King Willem-Alexander, who is married to Her Majesty Queen Máxima, has succeeded the Dutch throne on 30 April 2013. Vlisco celebrated this historic moment with a commemorative design on fabric. During my employment at Vlisco I had the honor to create the artwork for this piece fabric. It is a Limited Edition, only 12.500 yards have been printed.
Poster design for Graphic Design Festival Breda. The Festival's theme was 'Decode'. With this poster I want to show how our brain interprets images. When looking at this poster our brain searches for recognisable information that corresponds with what we see. But it's not possible for our brain to decode the visual information correctly, so the image distorts and moves.
Q-Dance commissioned me to create the main campaign image for Defqon.1 Festival 2014. DefQon.1 is an annual hardstyle festival held in the Netherlands. The theme of this year was ‘Survival of the Fittest’. To emphasize this concept of evolution I created a new species of tiger that has evolved into a fierce 'super-being' with extra senses, which I translated in my design creating extra eyes, ears and mouths. I was also asked to create icons for different events during this festival.

T-shirt illustration for the new brand JIMIJIMMY, an apparel/soft goods line that pays tribute to popular classic rock guitar riffs by capturing and visually portraying the 'essence' of the riff and by integrating tablature and/or chord symbol notation, which would allow a guitarist to learn and play the riff being represented.

Edits is an exhibition at Amsterdam Central Station. Each designer was asked to produce an artwork inspired by a museum in Amsterdam. I was inspired to design this piece after a visit to Edward and Nancy Kienholz's 'The Hoerengracht' at the Amsterdam Historical Museum.

DefQon.1 is an annual hardstyle festival held in the Netherlands. Q-Dance commissioned me to create the key visual for the 2018 edition. The brief was to create an illustration and lettering in ‘80s B-movie film poster’ style. I was also asked to re-style and update the set of icons that I’ve done some years ago. These icons were used for different events/area’s during the festival.

I created this print as part of a collaboration project between Dr. No Effects (Producer of hand made guitar effects) and David Catching (Guitarist of Eagles of Death Metal, Queens of the Stone Age). This collaboration was for a guitar effect that is called 'Road Runner - Octave Fuzz Wah Flying Machina'.
